Have you ever wanted to ply the perfect yarn?  Is your plying coming out underspun or over-energized?  Then this class is perfect for you!  In this three-hour interactive class, we'll talk about different types of plying and what methods are best for various applications.  Then we’ll spin and learn how to ply a perfectly balanced yarn using some handy tips and tricks I've learned along the way!

Level:  Intermediate: This class is best suited for those students who can already spin a consistent single and know the basics of plying.

Ages: This class is best-suited for adult students.

Materials Fee:  $15: Materials are part of class cost and includes 2-3oz of prepared spinning fiber (we’ll all be spinning the same fiber to keep everything consistent), WPI tool, and a resource guide filled with handouts, information, tips, and tricks. Additional supplies may be made available for purchase at the end of class.

Options: none

Please Bring:  A wheel, three empty bobbins, along with a lazy Kate. All wheels must be in good working order and students must have a basic understanding of how their specific wheel works.

To Do BEFORE Class: Students may bring a couple of bobbins of already spun singles, but it is not required.
