Inlay techniques incorporate an extra weft to create patterns and designs in a ground cloth. While the weaver is creating the cloth from selvedge to selvedge, any variety of additional weft materials can be added for interest. This class consists of variations of inlay techniques such as inlay at random, inlay on pattern, and inlay in alternate sheds. Class participants will work on their own looms with an opportunity to collaborate with other students. This is a self-paced class with students open to pick and choose which techniques they wish to concentrate on.
This is a 6 hour all day class.
